Parents and students:
Project was assigned on last week to conclude our reading of “Zebra.” The instructions were given to students via a PowerPoint presentation. Here is the information needed to assist students in being successful on the assignment:
Memorials are recreate to remember times, individuals, or things within one’s lifetime. I would like for each student to create a memorial of something, someone, an event, or place that will create a physical memory of a joyful time within his or her life. Some examples could be gifts from relatives that are not in physical reach, events that brought the family together, memorable moments within the students’ life, or a collage of pictures from a place that provided loving thoughts. Use the information and create an attractive presentation with one paragraph explaining why the memory is worthy of creating a memorial.
The final date for accepting projects will be October 21, 2009
Lesson plans will be updated on this Thursday. Thank you for your understanding. Also, we are reading "Rikki Tikki Tavi" during class this week. We will watch the video on Thursday and compare and contrast the reading and the video. There will be a test on the story on Friday. Please notes that students were given vocabulary on Friday of last week. More words will be added to the list on Tuesday, October 20, 2009. Students will take a vocabulary test on Thursday before watching the video.
